Paper Purist turns to Audio, Blaims Offspring
I used to be a paper purist.
Many readers are the same, hooked on the smell of a physical book, the smooth catch of page, the snap of a leaf turn. The sensory immersion of a book in hand is beyond compare. But then I had a kid, and if I wanted to continue to read, I needed to do it on the move.
Every one of the more than 150 books I've read in the three years since my child was born have been audiobooks, and much of my listening has occurred during runs or other workouts.
This blog is my musings on the books I listen to and the places where I listen to them. Please note, this will not be weighty or academic criticism. It's a chronicle of pleasure. I hope you enjoy it.
